Where to Bring Your Unwanted Books

Robbins Library
The Friends of the Robbins Library maintain an ongoing book sale. Donations are accepted
at the Reference Desk on the first floor. Please limit your contributions to one bag/box per visit.

The Book Rack
Located in Arlington Center next to the Regent Theatre. Get credit for your donations to use
when purchasing used books from the Book Rack.

Students with learning and communication disabilities learn valuable work skills by selling
books on their own Amazon website.

Prison Book Program

40 year old organization sends free books to prisoners. Non-childrens books only. No hardcovers.

Better World Books
Revere or Online
Founded in 2002 by three friends from the University of Notre Dame who were selling textbooks online,
it has become a business with a mission to promote literacy. To donate, you can ship books to them
(they pay shipping charges) or find a drop box. Nearest one is at Shops at Suffolk Downs in Revere.
